Brett McCormick, injured seriously in a crash at Assen, has recently been seen photographed with fans in Canada, wearing a neckbrace and standing tall. He is aiming to return to racing in August. The Effenbert Liberty Racing Team rider states that his thumb is healed and the pain in his broken neck has reduced enough for physiotherapy. The Canadian is tweeting regular updates on his Twitter feed.
Joan Lascorz is still looking to at least four months of physiotherapy and is adjusting to sitting in a chair after a long bedridden period. His team have asked all the World Superbike and MotoGP riders to wear a sticker on their bikes to show support for their fellow rider.

Saturday night's Darlington pit road altercation between Kurt Busch's boys and Ryan Newman's crew has resulted in fines and penalties for both sides. Here's how it shakes out, per a Tuesday ruling by NASCAR:
? Kurt Busch was fined $50,000 and put on probation until July 25 for "actions detrimental to stock car racing," including "reckless driving on pit road."
? Craig Strickler, one of Busch's crew, was fined $5,000 and put on probation through the end of the year.
? Tony Gibson, Newman's crew chief, is on probation until June 27 because of the actions of his crew.
? Andrew Rueger, one of Newman's crew members, was fined $5,000 and put on probation until June 27.
All of the penalties stem from the late-race incident in which Busch ran a burnout through Newman's pit stall, close to the #39 crew members, and subsequent postrace confrontations between both crews.
Busch wasn't docked any points, but it probably wouldn't have made much difference in his season anyway. After keeping himself reasonably in control for the first third of the season, Busch threw away months' worth of hard work with one profanity-laden radio outburst at the end of the Darlington race.
You can understand his frustration; he had a top-10 ride despite pit road problems, but he couldn't hold it together and ended up putting the 51 car into the wall with only a few laps remaining in the race. Still, Busch's rage likely won't endear him to any sponsors looking to throw a few more bucks NASCAR's way.
And so the "Days without a Busch blowup" clock goes back to zero.

Robert Himler first came to our attention when we brought you the ever-entertaining video of him filming a reaction video of his mom whilst driving his 1250hp twin-turbo Lamborghini Gallardo. Since that time, his YouTube channel has moved onto bigger and better things with his large selection of supercars also featuring heavily in future videos. However, that?s not what you?re here for. You are here to see just how fast this ?TTG? is when combined with 110 Octane racing fuel.
Despite owning this incredible supercar for upwards of a year, Himler has never ran it with racing gas before and as all automotive enthusiasts know, this expensive fuel mixture adds significantly to the overall horsepower and torque outputs of cars tuned to run it.
During the time of filming, the car was running at 20PSI of boost and put down an incredible 1,222AWHP on the dyno, significantly more than anything offered by Bugatti and even Hennessey and SSC.
If all of this wasn?t enough, a selection of different camera angles are shown throughout the video and the one at the 4:30 minute mark really caught our attention. If you look closely at the speedometer and the time of the video, you may notice the car accelerates from 50mph to 145mph in less than 7 seconds; a truly incredible feat!

One of the latest models created by Carroll Shelby is the 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, so it’s not a surprise that this was the model featured in the latest episode of Jay Leno’s Garage.
Next to Leno, Jamal Hameedi, SVT Chief Engineer, was also present providing all of us the best details on the new Mustang GT500. A very interesting thing to know is that Jay was the first guy outside of Ford to drive this 2013 high-performance model, but with a reputation like the one he has, that’s not surprising either!
As a reminder, the 2013 Ford Mustang GT500 is powered by a 5.8-liter V8 engine that delivers a total of 650 HP. Its top speed may reach up to 200 mph, making it the most powerful production V8 in the world! Check out the video to learn more about the amazing Shelby GT500!
